A letter for Clarice

 Dear Clarice,

First of all, I would like to say that you are and will remain to be the greatest gift I ever received in my life. If not for you I don't know what will happen to me. Losing my father in the year 2005. I felt that I lost the reason to live. With you coming into my life is like having reasons to breathe again. Sorry for all the hardships you have to go through in life because of me. Sorry I can't give you a complete family. Sorry if you have to grow without father by your side. Sorry if you got bullied growing up because of it. Sorry if in anyway I caused you discomfort. Sorry if you have to endure all the heartaches and pains because of my decisions in life. Sorry if you think I lack as a mother. If I could I wanted to give you everything. Sorry for everything anak. I always pray that you stay safe. May the angels of the Lord Jesus Christ be always with you. I pray in every moments of your life you feel happy, safe and protected. I want you to be whole. I want you to be successful. I want you to be grateful in life. I hope you always see the beauty in life kahit napakahirap minsan. I hope you hold on to your happy moments and believe that It will come again. I hope you have a dream that you fulfill. To have a hope for future. A dream to live happily. To be able to have your own family someday. A family that is complete. Abundant. Healthy and with God as the center. I still hope for a happy life. I hope you achieve all your dreams. I hope you have friends for life that will cheer for you. Help you see the beauty in life. From growing without a father. To enduring the bullying at school. My heart breaks so much everytime I think of how hard your life is for you. wala akong magawa kundi ipagdasal ka anak. Kahabagan ka nawa ng Diyos at bigyan ng reasons to be happy. To reach for your dreams. to give you good health. Maging maayos lagi ang pakiramdam at kalusugan mo. Magkaron ka sana ng magandang prospektibo sa buhay. Magkaron palagi ng pagasa na darating yung panahon ng Kaligayahan para sa iyo. I'll pray enceasingly for you baby. For your happiness, success and good health. Now and Forever.

That is one of the truth in life.

It really is hard. This is definitely not a walk in a park. It's not roses and butterflies. It's not choosing to be happy. Don't believe the saying, life is short, choose to be happy. It's a neverending struggle. everytime you pass through difficulties, another hindrance is on it's way to you.
